DRIVETRAIN
 
The R3 Single Speed Transmission comes with a tough cast metal case and wider gears for durability and a Delrin Spur with Slipper Clutch for performance. It also features a sturdy billet aluminum motor mount for added toughness.
 
The Gelande II includes the new Hammer Transfer Case. Packed with scale detail, the Hammer features a cast metal exterior and heavy-duty .8 Mod widened gears for durability.
 
Drawing on the success of the RC4WD MOA Gear Sets, the Gelande II drivetrain has the most durable gears RC4WD has to offer, capable of staying on the trail day after day.
 
The most scale-accurate axles on the market, the RC4WD Yota II Ultimate Scale Cast Axle V2 (Front/Rear) set the standard for scale realism, featuring 8-degree round knuckles, removable diff covers, lower mounting points, and a compact offset pumpkin.
 
The driveshafts found on the Gelande II Chassis feature heavy-duty uni-joint metal shafts for great driveline angles and durability on the trail.
 
SUSPENSION
 
The all-new Gelande II Chassis is a machined billet aluminum ladder frame with an all-link suspension design, scale shock hoops, chassis servo mounts, and hard body mounting points for the ultimate in strength.
 
The Gelande II includes a set of new RC4WD Dual Spring Scale Black Shocks 80mm V3. With an all-new design, the shocks come with our new X-ring tech that provides multiple sealing points for superior protection against leaks and contamination, ensuring cleaner operation, longer performance life, and reliability!
 
The Gelande II Chassis Set is CNC machined with a smooth anodized black finish and integrated grooves for cross-bracing, giving it more texture and stability.
 
Dominate tough terrain with RC4WD Steering Links. Perform sharp turns and experience immediate responsiveness. Crafted from premium materials, these links deliver unmatched durability and control.
 
This Metal Drive Coupling is made of hardened steel, which provides sufficient durability, extending the lifespan of your drivetrain and withstanding the stresses of high-torque.

  • While some components may come assembled, we always recommend that you check the products to ensure all hardware is tight. In some cases, you may want to apply thread lock to some of the hardware that is already installed.
  • Use good quality hex drivers to avoid stripping screw heads.
  • Use thread lock sparingly.
  • Do not over tighten screws, otherwise you may strip the thread.
