Brute power and sheer stamina have made this our legacy “power up” for popular 1/8th scale buggies, truggies and on road vehicles and 1/10th scale monster trucks.

The Mamba Monster 2 ESC is capable of 2S LiPo to a maximum of 6S LiPo and is waterproof, which means you can run your vehicle through the morning dew, across the soggy snow or just about anywhere else you’d be interested in running a 1/8th scale RC buggy or truck.

Power System Alerts:

The Mamba Monster 2 is programmed to flash LED patterns to alert users to certain conditions such as over temperature or not detecting a valid signal from the receiver.

Warranty:

Castle Creations, Inc. warrants this product to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of one year from date of purchase.

Programmability:

Fully programmable Castle feature set using Castle Link USB adapter (coupon for free Castle Link adapter included in package) and freely downloadable Castle Link Windows software, or the Castle Link iOS App and a B-LINK Bluetooth Adapter  (A small subset of the settings available through Castle Link Windows software can be accessed via manual programming through the transmitter stick).

Firmware Upgrade:

Users will receive free access to all firmware updates, including added features sets using the Castle Link USB Programming Kit

Castle Link Compatible
With the Castle Link USB Programming Kit you can use your Windows™ PC to easily program your controller. Castle Link includes all code for all Castle Link compatible hobby products in one convenient download. Note: Castle Link software requires a Castle Link USB Adapter and a computer that is running Windows. Castle Link is compatible with Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10. Macintosh users may take advantage of software such as Parallels Desktop, VMware Fusion, or Apple´s Boot Camp along with Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 to run the Castle Link software, provided the Macintosh has an Intel processor. Macintosh installation is not supported by Castle Creations.

Product Use Statements: *Although Monster 2 and Castle brushless motors are waterproof, they are not intended for operation while completely submerged in liquid. They can corrode when exposed to corrosive materials, such as salt water. Always rinse the ESC and motor with clean water after exposure to corrosives or dirt. While the motor and controller may be waterproof, we suggest users confirm that the rest of their vehicle, including the batteries, servos, radio and chassis are also waterproof before exposing them to liquids of any kind. 

**The cooling fan must be removed prior to driving in wet conditions. It is not waterproof.

Tech Notes: Not all LiPos are created equal, and surge ratings should never be used to determine a pack’s suitability for a brushless application. Use the CONTINUOUS C rating only. Mamba Monster setups frequently hit 100+ amps in peaks. We strongly suggest using 5,000 mAh or larger LiPo cells with a discharge rating of at least 30C (or high quality 25C batteries such as Traxxas® Power Cells®). Our experience suggests using only mild gear ratios with NiMH cells. Do not attempt to use NiMH cells in extreme setups.

Mamba Monster 2 features solder posts, so changing battery wire length and direction is simple for an even more custom install.
